Uncle Johnny's Chocolate Chip Cookies, egg/butter/nut free

Uncle Johnny's Chocolate Chip Cookies
Egg Free, Butter Free, Nut Free
I wanted to bake some goods for a party we were going to, and I did not have any butter.. So I decided it would be a good opprotunity to make a cookie my little brother in law could eat! He has allergies to eggs and peanuts. I did some research on several vegan recipes and pulled from many to put together this recipe. Its not vegan due to the chocolate chips but it very well could be if you replace the chocolate chips for dairy free chips. I choice to use herseys chocolate because it in manufactured in a factory without peanuts.

1 C Brown Sugar
1/4 C Apple Sauce
2 Tsp Vanilla
1/4 C Sugar
1/4 Tsp Cinnomon
1/2 C Vegetable Oil
2 C Flour
1 Tsp Baking Soda
3/4 Tsp Salt
2 Herseys Milk Chocolate Bars Chopped

Preheat Oven to 325

First Combine brown sugar, sugar, oil, vanilla, and apple sauce.
Mix on medium high until well blended.
In a seperate bowl combine flour, salt, baking soda and cinnomon, mix.

Add flour combination with the sugar mixture. Mix on medium until well combined.
Chop your chocolate bars and add to your cookie batter, mix on slow.
Spoon 2 tbsp size scoops onto your cookie sheet and baked in a preheated oven for approximately 10-12 minutes. Oven temperatures may vary.
Once golden brown place on cookie sheet for cooling, serve warm! Yum!
The true test will be tonight when Johnny gets to have some!
If you make this recipe and do any alteration please let me know! I found that they were a little chewy and would like to keep alternating the recipe to try and replicate a traditional chocolate chip cookie more!
